  37. German is much harder to learn (same as French) and international 
  38. commmunication takes place in English.

  40. Though one third of the American immigrants a few hundred years ago were 
  41. talking german, they missed the general decision to do so in the whole 
  42. continent only by an inch. Otherwise we all would talk german now.
